A large worm is terrorizing Bikini Bottom and SpongeBob is terrified of it. Sandy thinks SpongeBob is chicken and drags him out into the wilderness to take the worm on. When they finally see the worm, it turns out SpongeBob was right - it's ferocious. It chases Sandy and SpongeBob high and low. Sandy and SpongeBob run for their lives while fighting over whose fault it is. In the end, they get away and become friends again.RATING:
Believing Mr. Krabs is taking advantage, Squidward convinces naive SpongeBob to join with him and threaten Mr. Krabs with a strike. When Mr. Krabs fires them both, a frustrated Squidward tries to teach SpongeBob the art of picketing, but business only gets better for Mr. Krabs, and Squid is forced to make a stump speech about how they will "destroy the establishment." When Squid has nightmares about being unemployed with SpongeBob forever, he caves into Krabs and they both reach an agreement, but only after SpongeBob takes Squidward literally and entirely destroys the Krusty Krab.RATING:
The Fast Food Olympics are taking place and Krabs has entered SpongeBob to compete in all the events. As Pat watches SpongeBob train, he decides he wants to play, too. SpongeBob explains to him that you have to actually work at a fast food place to enter. Pat quickly gets a job with the Chum Bucket and Plankton enters Pat in the Olympics as his champion. SpongeBob and Pat's friendship is torn apart as Mr. Krabs and Plankton whip them into killing machines. They compete and it's all tied until the last event when SpongeBob and Pat both realize that they can't let any old competition get in the way of their friendship. Mr. Krabs and Plankton end up wrestling for the championship title.RATING:
When money hungry Mr. Krabs discovers that customers love SpongeBob's special jellyfish jelly Krabby Patty, he convinces SpongeBob to bring him as many of the jellyfish as he can. SpongeBob easily brings in herds of the gentle creatures and empties the entire jellyfish field, with the exception of his favorite one, Ol' Buzzy. However, Ol' Buzzy isn't happy with SpongeBob's lack of respect for the jellyfish fields, and hunts after SpongeBob to reveal to him the horrible conditions under which Mr. Krabs is keeping all the jellyfish. When SpongeBob realizes what he has done, he joins forces with Ol' Buzzy to free all of the jellyfish from greedy Mr. Krabs.RATING:
Squid is teaching an art class at the adult learning center in Bikini Bottom and SpongeBob turns up as his only student. SpongeBob is a natural and Squid crushes his spirit with all his criticism. SpongeBob leaves the class convinced he has no talent. When and art collector arrives moments later and commissions Squid to make a statue for the park, Squid realizes he needs SpongeBob's help and begs him to come back and try again. But SpongeBob can longer perform like he did and his art now comes out as bad as Squid's. Frustrated with SpongeBob, Squid destroys all of the supplies and the land in a heap behind him. When the art collector arrives he asks if the heap is his statue and Squid denies he has anything to do with it. We reveal the heap and it is an amazing statue that gets erected in the park with the plaque underneath reading "artist unknown". Squid is never recognized as an artist at all.RATING:
SpongeBob reads a "bad" word off the dumpster behind the Krusty Krab and he doesn't know what it means. He asks Pat who explains to him that it's a fancy word and both of them start using it in every sentence they can. But when Mr. Krabs hears them he goes berserk and warns them never to use it again. Later on, SpongeBob accidentally uses the "bad" word again and Pat runs to tell on him to Mr. Krabs. SpongeBob chases him and in the excitement, Mr. Krabs accidentally stubs his toe and says the "bad" word as well. SpongeBob and Pat can't believe it and they run to Mr. Krabs's mother to tell on him and she makes them all paint her house as punishment.RATING:
When Patrick's parents come over for Starfish Day, Patrick gets upset that they still think he isn't very smart. SpongeBob offers to act stupid next to Pat in front of Patrick's parents in order to make Pat look smarter, but their plan backfires when Patrick forgets that SpongeBob is just acting and really does believe SpongeBob is stupid. SpongeBob and Patrick compete with each other to prove once and for all who's smarter, only to discover that Patrick's parents aren't his real parents after all, but identical sea stars who have come to the wrong address.RATING:
SpongeBob has an assignment for boating school. He must write an 800-word essay before the next morning. SpongeBob starts to write it, but he gets distracted easily and can't keep his mind on his work. The hours fly by and SpongeBob is exhausted. Delirious, he imagines his pants on the clothesline are talking to him. They mock him for procrastinating and not writing his essay sooner. SpongeBob hallucinates more and we reveal that he was actually dreaming. He has five minutes to write the essay, which he does, describing all the things he saw in his crazy dream.RATING:
Ms. Puff pays a visit to the Krusty Krab and Mr. Krabs is instantly smitten with her. He recruits SpongeBob to help him woo Ms. Puff. SpongeBob tries to play matchmaker, but he screws it all up and Krabs threatens his job at every turn. In the end, it turns out she didn't need much wooing, she was into Krabs the whole time!RATING:
In order to increase profits, Krabs decides that the Krusty Krab will now be open 24 hours a day. He orders SpongeBob and Squidward to work all night - what's known as the Graveyard Shift. At first SB is scared so Squid taunts him by telling a scary tale about the "Hash Slinging Slasher." Soon, their paranoia gets the best of them and they become convinced someone is stalking them, waiting to kill them it turns out the guy just wanted an application.RATING:
When Squid's rival from High School starts bragging to him about being a successful bandleader, Squid lies and claims he has a successful band as well. His rival offers to let Squid and his band pinch-hit for him at the famous Bubble Bowl. Squid jumps at the chance and then realizes he doesn't have a band and needs to get one fast. He recruits SpongeBob, Pat, Sandy etc. to play in his band, but they act like a bunch of idiots in rehearsal and Squid can't control them. Eventually, he realizes he's going to be made a fool of at the Bubble Bowl. But SpongeBob etc. get it together at the last minute and play well and Squid ends up looking fantastic in front of his old rival.RATING:
Pat has a box and he won't show SpongeBob what's inside of it because it's a secret. SpongeBob can't believe Pat would keep something from him and he pretends not to care what's inside the box, but secretly it's driving him crazy. In the end, SpongeBob's curiosity gets the better of him and he breaks into the Rock at night to steal the box. When SpongeBob discovers nothing inside he is sorely disappointed and leaves. Afterwards, Pat is grateful that SpongeBob never found his secret compartment inside his secret box.RATING:
When SpongeBob and Pat discover a pencil from the surface they begin to draw with it. Everything they draw comes to life! Soon, they begin to do small, lame pranks on the neighbors, the last of which is a crude, rough sketch of SpongeBob they call "SpongeDoodle." SpongeDoodle quickly escapes and starts pranking all of SpongeBob's friends and SpongeBob is getting blamed for it. Then, he starts to prank SpongeBob and Pat, too. SpongeBob erases his drawing, but it comes back life, re-drawing itself and they have an erase war. May the better sponge win!RATING:
Mr. Krabs loses SpongeBob's fry cook contract in a bet with Plankton and SpongeBob is forced to go work at the Chum Bucket. While there, SpongeBob is so homesick that he can't even fry up a single patty. At a loss, Plankton tries to comfort SpongeBob by showering him with gifts and attention. So much so, that SpongeBob soon acts like a spoiled teenager. Plankton tries to throw him out but SpongeBob sys he doesn't feel like it. Plankton ends up having to pay Mr. Krabs to take SpongeBob off his hands again.RATING:
It's time to give Gary a bath, but he doesn't want to take one. SpongeBob tries to lure Gary into the tub but he refuses to go. In the end, Gary outsmarts SpongeBob by luring him outside. SpongeBob falls in the mud and ends up even dirtier than Gary ever was. Gary meows and goes back inside.RATING:
An anchor gets lodged into Squidward's window, so SpongeBob, Pat and Squidward all climb the rope to see who is responsible. It's The Flying Dutchman's ship, and he enslaves them to work as crewmembers on deck for the rest of their lives! Squidward, however, is quickly thrown overboard because he's so annoying. SpongeBob and Pat love being slaves on board his ghostly ship and it drives the Dutchman crazy. An angry Dutchman resigns to eat them the next day, so SpongeBob and Pat steal his special dining socks in retaliation. He agrees to grant them 3 wishes in exchange for the socks. They quickly blow the first two wishes. Their destiny will be determined by our audience voting over the phone lines and the internet.RATING:
SpongeBob and Pat visit the zoo and SpongeBob innocently tosses a peanut at a oyster in order to rouse it. The oyster goes crazy and suddenly the authorities demand to know what could have caused this. SpongeBob panics and denies that he knows anything about it. The dismayed oyster continues to cry, disturbing all of Bikini Bottom and everyone, including Pat, becomes obsessed with making sure whoever tossed that peanut is punished. SpongeBob digs himself a deeper and deeper hole by refusing to come clean. Finally, the police tell him they have found their man and they haul Patrick off claiming he was the only one there at the scene of the crime. SpongeBob can't let Pat take the rap for something he did even though Pat is now completely convinced that he, indeed, did it. In the end, SpongeBob comes clean.RATING:
Sandy and SpongeBob get into a fierce competition doing extreme underwater sports. The longer they compete, the more people they attract and soon SpongeBob has a small following who cheer him on as their underwater mascot and poo poo Sandy because she is a "land lubber." The score is even until Sandy loses because her underwater suit can't handle the pressure from the great depths of the sea. SpongeBob and his cronies brag and Sandy challenges them to go to the surface and see how they do. Scared out of their minds, they go to the surface and get chased by a seagull. In the end, Sandy saves them just barely in time.RATING:
When SpongeBob starts telling derogatory jokes about squirrels, SpongeBob becomes an overnight stand up comedy sensation. At first, Sandy is a good sport about it, but soon people start treating her as if she really was stupid and smelly. Her feelings get hurt and she asks SpongeBob if he could tell some other kinds of jokes. SpongeBob agrees but when he tries to, he flops on his face so he quickly resorts to his standard squirrel jokes. Sandy invites SpongeBob to the Treedome for a celebration dinner. When he arrives, Sandy acts as stupid as SpongeBob has been claiming squirrels are, and he gets what's coming to him.RATING:
When Mermaidman and Barnacleboy go away for the weekend, they ask SpongeBob and Pat to house sit for them. Inside the house, SpongeBob and Pat discover the evil super villain, Man-Ray frozen in a tank. SpongeBob can't help but unfreeze him and he cons them into setting him free by convincing them they have re-habilitated him. Once SpongeBob and Pat set him free, they find out that Man-Ray was only pretending and they take on the roles of Mermaidman and Barnacleboy themselves in order to re-capture the villain and save Bikini Bottom. In an idiotic show down, we learn that Man-Ray only thinks he hasn't turned good, but actually SpongeBob and Pat did change him and he gives up his evil ways.
When SpongeBob and Pat go to a jellyfishing convention, SpongeBob tries to join an exclusive, elitist jellyfishing club. Secretly, the club president thinks SpongeBob isn't worthy, but for his own amusement he makes SpongeBob pass a series of grueling tests in order to join the club. The tests end up backfiring on him and SpongeBob learns that talking about jellyfishing isn't nearly as cool as just doing it.RATING:
SpongeBob attempts and fails his driving test again, but a ragged and fed up Ms. Puff wants him out of her classroom so she makes up some bogus extra credit for him so he can pass the test. This all backfires on Ms. Puff and the only way she can stop SpongeBob from menacing Bikini Bottom's roadways is to steal SpongeBob's boat so he can't drive it.RATING:
One day, Gary starts following Pat around and SpongeBob can't figure out why. Slowly he grows more and more jealous and becomes determined to win Gary back. Pat thinks SpongeBob should just accept that Gary's with him now and move on with his life. SpongeBob tries to replace Gary with new pets, but none of them are the same. SpongeBob becomes more and more pathetic as he tries to win back Gary's affection and in a surprise ending, we understand that Gary is as loyal as a pet can be.RATING:
While Sandy is hibernating for the winter, SpongeBob and Pat are fascinated by the snow they see inside the Tree Dome and want to play in it. When they try to sneak inside, Sandy warns them in a pre-taped video not to disturb a mammal when she's hibernating. SpongeBob and Pat, of course, ignore the warning, play in the snow, wake up Sandy and then have to contend with the sleepwalking and sleeptalking savage beast she's become. When they finally get her back to sleep, they realize the lock to the door is frozen shut and they'll have to spend the winter there. Freezing, they pluck off all of Sandy's hair in order to keep warm and when she wakes up, it's payback time.RATING:
Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob and Pat that it's okay to borrow things if you plan to return them one day. So SpongeBob and Pat "borrow" a balloon from the Bargain Mart and they accidentally pop it. They realize that they can't return it, so they are now criminals! Fearing a life in jail for their crime, SpongeBob and Pat go on the lam.RATING:
Sandy is going into hibernation in one week and she wants to pack a million activities for her and SpongeBob to do together in that short time. SpongeBob is game and he starts off strong, but he can't keep up with the adrenaline junkie Sandy. He doesn't want to hurt her feelings by telling her "No" so instead he just hides. When Sandy can't find him, she recruits the rest of Bikini Bottom to go on a massive "Sponge-hunt" to find him. In the end, they all get as fed up with Sandy as SpongeBob did and they hide from her, too.RATING:
Squid is so sick and tired of living between SpongeBob and Pat that he decides to leave Bikini Bottom and go someplace where everyone is just like him. Squid arrives and he loves it at first, but he soon discovers how boring everyone is and how uninteresting his life is without the constant mayhem that SpongeBob and Pat provide. Crazed by the monotony, Squidward starts to act out, becoming the "SpongeBob" of this new community.RATING:
When SpongeBob's Gramma gives him a kiss in public, the guys at work tease him about being a little baby. Embarrassed and humiliated, SpongeBob and Pat resolve to become more adult and to tell Grammaw that she can't kiss him anymore. But when they get there, Pat caves completely and laps up all of Grammaw's affection. SpongeBob is jealous and tries desperately to get Grammaw to kiss him again, but she refuses, claiming SpongeBob is too adult now for kisses. SpongeBob ends up regressing completely and finally cops to the fact that he loves her kisses and will never be embarrassed about them again.RATING:
Mr. Krabs keeps trying new sales gimmicks for the Krusty Krab, but none of them work. SpongeBob comes up with an idea for colored krabby patties, but Mr. Krabs just scoffs at him, reminding him to leave the creative thinking to him. SpongeBob gets his feelings hurt and decides to test his colored patty ideas for himself. He and Pat set up a tiny patty stand in front of the Pineapple and suddenly colored patties are the rage of Bikini Bottom and stealing all of the Krusty Krab's business. Mr. Krabs is desperate to steal the gimmick from SpongeBob and by the time he does, the fad is over and Mr. Krabs gets what he deserves.
